The big issue that plagues so many economy vehicles—like most subcompact crossover SUVs—is a lack of features. While you can get a hold of these vehicles for under $20,000 in most cases, they are the barest of bones, stripped of almost everything that isn’t necessary for the vehicle to function. This is why so many of them are labelled “econo-boxes.”
If you’re looking for a feature-rich vehicle at an affordable price, try leasing the 2020 Mazda CX-3.
Capistrano Mazda offers Truly $0 Due lease offers on all new Mazda vehicles. That means truly nothing due at signing when you lease a new 2020 Mazda.
No down payment. No first month's payment. No security deposit.
No surprises like license or document fees.
The 2020 Mazda CX-3 comes with the tried-and-true 2.0-liter Skyactiv-G four-cylinder engine, the same one found in the sporty 2020 MX-5 Miata and Miata RF. The engine pumps out 148 ponies and 146 lb-ft of torque. It's paired with a refined six-speed automatic, so you can expect precise upshifts and quick downshifts. The 2020 Mazda CX-3 comes standard with FWD, but an AWD drivetrain is available. Both boast equally good fuel economy: the CX-3 FWD gets 29-city/34-highway MPG and the CX-3 AWD gets 27-city/32-highway MPG.
Mazda dropped the CX-3 down to a single, economical trim for 2020: the Sport. While there is now only one trim to choose from, the Sport gained many new standard features. Every CX-3 has a 7-inch touchscreen, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility, Bluetooth connectivity, Voice recognition, and a USB input and charging port. All multimedia functions can be controlled via touchscreen or the intuitively placed rotary command knob. This dual functionality allows for responsive inputs regardless of input preference.
The 2020 CX-3 also gets a boost in regard to its standard safety equipment. Each 2020 CX-3 now includes the i-Activsense suite, which was on optional package on older CX-3 models. This means that forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking and pedestrian detection, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic control, and lane departure warning are standard. Stop-and-go adaptive cruise control, automatic high beams, adaptive headlights, and a rearview camera are also standard.
