The 2020 Mazda MX-5 Miata RF sports a 2.0-liter Skyactiv-G four-cylinder engine that pumps out 181 horses and 151 lb-ft of torque. Every Miata RF is RWD. Each trim comes standard with a six-speed manual transmission, but it can be swapped out for a six-speed automatic. However, the performance enhancements for the Club and Touring trim, as well as the Club-only Brembo/BBS Recaro Package, require that the manual transmission is equipped. Unlike the soft-top Miata, the 2020 Miata RF comes in two trims: Club and Grand Touring. Both trims are well equipped.
