The 2020 Mazda3 Sedan comes in four trims: Base, Select, Preferred, and Premium. Each trim comes with the 186-horsepower 2.5-liter Skyactiv-G four-cylinder engine and a six-speed automatic transmission. The Mazda3 Sedan Base is only available in FWD, however, all other trims have both a FWD and an AWD variant; FWD is standard. Mazda3 Sedan models with FWD are estimated at 26-city/35-highway MPG. The AWD versions are rated at 25-city/33-highway MPG.

Connectivity and Comfort

Every 2020 Mazda3 Sedan comes with an 8.8-infotainment screen, Bluetooth connectivity, HD radio, push-button start, and two USB ports. The Select trim gains Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, proximity keyless entry, and dual-zone automatic climate control. The Select also gets synthetic leather upholstery and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. The Preferred trim adds a 12-speaker Bose premium stereo and satellite radio, as well as heated front seats. The Premium gets leather-trimmed sport seats and a moonroof.

Safety Suite

Standard safety features include lane departure warning with lane-keep assist, forward collision warning with pedestrian detection and automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning with lane keep assist, adaptive cruise control, and automatic high beams. Other standard features include automatic rain-sensing wipers, a driver attention monitor, and a rearview camera. The Select trim gains blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert. The Premium trim gets adaptive headlights and a heads-up display.
