The 2020 Mazda3 Sedan comes in four trims: Base, Select, Preferred, and Premium. Each trim comes with the 186-horsepower 2.5-liter Skyactiv-G four-cylinder engine and a six-speed automatic transmission. The Mazda3 Sedan Base is only available in FWD, however, all other trims have both a FWD and an AWD variant; FWD is standard. Mazda3 Sedan models with FWD are estimated at 26-city/35-highway MPG. The AWD versions are rated at 25-city/33-highway MPG.
Every 2020 Mazda3 Sedan comes with an 8.8-infotainment screen, Bluetooth connectivity, HD radio, push-button start, and two USB ports. The Select trim gains Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, proximity keyless entry, and dual-zone automatic climate control. The Select also gets synthetic leather upholstery and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. The Preferred trim adds a 12-speaker Bose premium stereo and satellite radio, as well as heated front seats. The Premium gets leather-trimmed sport seats and a moonroof.
Standard safety features include lane departure warning with lane-keep assist, forward collision warning with pedestrian detection and automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning with lane keep assist, adaptive cruise control, and automatic high beams.
