The 2021 CX-3 has a 2.0-liter Skyactiv-G four-cylinder engine. It produces 148 horsepower and 146 lb-ft of torque. A six-speed automatic transmission is standard. As mentioned above, the CX-3 comes in both FWD and AWD, though FWD is standard. FWD models are estimated at 29-city/34-highway mpg while AWD ones get 27-city/32-highway mpg.

Safety Suite

Every 2021 CX-3 is packed with safety features. Included on each model are forward collision warning with day/night pedestrian detection and automatic emergency braking, blind spot monitoring with rear cross traffic alert, stop-and-go adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, rain-sensing windshield wipers, adaptive LED headlights with automatic high beams, a heads-up display, and a rearview camera. Rear parking sensors are available for an additional cost.

Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and Bluetooth are standard on the 2021 CX-3, as are a USB port, a 7-inch touchscreen, and voice recognition technology.
